The vanilla beans are great in hot or cold mixtures and excellent to use in baking, desserts and smoothies.

"I love the Vanilla pods, as they are plump and packed full of seeds and have a unique Vanilla flavour. We also love supporting New Zealand purveyors and excited to help in any way."

"I love the consistent first rate quality of Heilala Vanilla. The best part is that they have a genuine and beautiful story behind their product, a true partnership with the village of Utungake in Vava’u Tonga. "
Heilala Vanilla began as an aid project to assist a village in one of the most beautiful and remote places on the globe, Vava'u Islands, Kingdom of Tonga. They practice organic growing principles in the most perfect and natural growing environment. Our Vanilla is grown in organic virgin soil, on coconut husk frames, hand pollinated and dried under the Pacific Sun, then stored at optimum conditions to ensure full flavour to develop.
Our practice of true sustainability with the local village has enabled resources for education and infrastructure, which they otherwise may not have had. The result is the richest grade of Vanilla in the Asia Pacific region. A distinctive aroma, shine and plumpness.

"This balsamic vinegar is a staple in my kitchen. It adds a sweetness and tartness to salads that is just divine. I particularly love it drizzled over freshly sliced beefsteak tomatoes and thinly sliced red onion, with some extra virgin olive oil, a sprinkle of salt and a few fresh basil leaves on top - the perfect 5 minute summer salad!”.
- Buffy Ellen, founder of begoodorganics.com (Auckland, New Zealand)
“My go to vinegar for a quick salad dressing. I’m not a big cook but if I’m making a quick and easy salad, this is my go to - great poured over with some olive or flaxseed oil - easy, delicious and I know I’m eating food that’s good for my body”.

While extracts of various foods have been used in supplements for many years, a new movement away from supplements and towards whole Superfoods has arisen, and promises to offer greater benefits to health through the premise that the synergistic interaction of the nutrients gained from natural wholefoods has more to offer than one or two components being extracted and put into a tablet. Often the balance, ratio and type of nutrients found in wholefoods leads to superior assimilation and absorption by the body. There is a renewed belief that eating wholefoods (and particularly wholefoods with super-nutrient qualities) is of greater benefit than simple supplementation with individual extracts.
