  • Pacific Harvest Kelp comes from the pristine waters of NZ. This 100% natural sea vegetable is sustainably selected and naturally air-dried to preserve all it goodness. Kelp is sought after for its rich iodine content and other minerals and vitamins, and is often used as a salt alternative. During cooking it imparts all its goodness to the food and adds body and flavour to soups.

    Note: Given its high iodine content, people with an overactive thyroid or allergies to iodine should consult their doctor before consuming this product.
  • Kelp Seasoning have the appearance of cracked pepper and can be added to simmering dishes instead of salt - they will soften during cooking and release their goodness into the dish. The flavour is very delicate and won't change the taste of the food.

    The polysaccharides naturally present in Kelp will also improve the texture of any sauce by acting as a mild thickener.
