Why go botanical? Independent testing found fragranced products can emit 156 different VOCs, 42 classified as hazardous (Steinemann, 2016). A common fragrance solvent (diethyl phthalate) has been detected in 97% of people via its urinary metabolite (Silva, 2004). This workshop shows you a cleaner, bespoke alternative.

In this workshop, you’ll:

Discover the basics of fragrance design - top, middle, and base notes - so your scent actually lasts
Learn safe skin application, carriers, and dilution (roller vs atomiser)
Blend your own bespoke botanical perfume to take home (10 mL bottle + recipe card supplied at in-person workshops)

Who it’s for: Anyone wanting a beautiful, personalised fragrance without the synthetic cloud—perfect for beginners and curious creators alike.

What to bring: your favourite essential oils + an empty 10 mL glass bottle (roller or spray). If you don’t have these, we can provide them at the in-person workshops for a small additional cost.

Activated charcoal powder must always be taken in liquid form. Mix well in a glass of water before taking internally. Under no circumstances must you swallow the powder if it is not mixed.

If you are using activated charcoal to whiten your teeth it is important to note that if have crowns, caps, or porcelain veneers, it’s possible that activated charcoal may stain them.

In general, if you are taking medications while taking activated charcoal, experts recommend that you take the charcoal at least two hour before and after taking synthetic medication.

Agar is a red seaweed extract used as a vegetarian gelatine and thickening agent in food. While mainly known for its use as highly effective gelling agent, it is also very healthy and high in nutrition.

Agar is a Malay word that means 'jelly'. Pacific Harvest's Agar is an extract made from several different red seaweeds belonging to the botanical family called gelidium. The jelly is flavourless, odourless and colourless, which makes agar an unusual product with endless possibilities.
Add 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of agar powder per cup of liquid and heat to dissolve. Cool to thicken.

Can be used in exactly the same way as gelatine but must be prepared in a certain way. Before using agar in a recipe, the powder must be allowed to re-hydrate & dissolve in a liquid and then simmered for several minutes before setting. The product is superior to gelatine as it doesn't melt easily in warm weather and has a firmer texture. Agar also harmonises the texture of an uneven blend.

This unique brow pencil formula from our favourite range of Ere Perez natural makeup glides on smoothly to fill in or define eyebrows. Its versatility suits people with a wide range of natural hair colours, from blonde to brown and right through to pitch black. You can enhance the colour by simply applying it more lightly or heavily depending on the look you want to achieve.

It dries naturally and beautifully, and the brush included allows you to comb the browns to distribute the colour evenly.
Apply as you would your normal eyebrow pencil, and prepare yourself for beautiful naturally defined eyebrows. Increase or decrease the colour to match your hair and skin tones by applying more or less as you like.
