Wholemeal Rye Flour

Ceres Organics

  • Rye flour is made from stoneground rye grain. It is closely related to wheat flour but has a lower gluten content and retains more nutrients as it is a lot harder to refine than wheat. This makes it an incredible source of soluble fibre, vitamin E, magnesium, iron and potassium. This flours hearty flavour is ideal for moist, dense baking. It has a slightly sour taste and is specifically used to prepare Rye bread and sourdough bread, which are generally darker and denser with a distinctive flavour against other types of bread.

  • Use Rye flour in all your baking and cooking recipes.

Once opened, store in a sealed container in a cool, dry place and keep away from direct sunlight.
